I've been lurking on this site for years, content with learning by reading. But now I have a specific question about a storm I chased today, and would appreciate any feedback from others who chased the same storm. The storm in question is the one that severe warned near Castle Rock and then moved eastward, just north of Hwy 86, producing a wall cloud around Elizabeth, before finally dying out east of Kiowa.
I gave up on this storm a little after 7:30pm, but about 50 other chase vehicles stayed on the side of the road watching the storm as I was leaving. My question is, what time did you leave this storm and why? I want to make sure that I didn't leave too early, and also that I left for the right reasons. Any feedback from people who chased this storm would be greatly appreciated.
As this is my first question post and I am not comfortable with all of the stormtrack posting rules, please let me know if I posted this in the wrong section, if the question should not have been asked for any reason, or if the question should have been stated differently.
