SEASON SUMMARY: 2007 is best known for the Greensburg EF5 tornado that destroyed the town after dark on May 4, while the March 28, 2007 early season outbreak produced many dramatic intercepts for chasers.

  • April 24, 2007: Nickerson, Kansas tornadoes
  • May 4, 2007: Greensburg, Kansas and Arnett, Oklahoma tornadoes (first EF-5)
  • May 5, 2007: Kansas/Oklahoma tornado outbreak
  • May 22, 2007: Hill City, Kansas tornado**
  • June 6, 2007: Kyle, South Dakota tornado**
