New Storm Chasing Series on Discovery

Ya but I also wondering if they just do that for more clicks also?
Yep. A good example is when one of the chasers says they heard voices and then saw the family climb out of the rubble. Then later he says they pulled the family out! Nope! I'll give them credit for running to the house and trying to help, but they did not pull the family out.

How long do we think this show will last? I watched the first episode and Randy Hicks got so close to a tornado that his back window got sucked out and they couldn't get good photos. One of other chasers is racing down the highway with his camera in both hands, holding the steering wheel with his knees. Reminds me of the fatal accident when Kelley Williamson ran the stop sign and killed another chaser. Discovery will be sued if there's an accident, just like the Weather Channel was... using their own video against them to demonstrate reckless behavior is the norm.

Dominator parked on the highway blocking a lane, then backed into Connor doing serious damage, while Reed yelled about staying out of his blindspot (I'm guess that thing has a lot of them.) Freddy had to slam on the brakes and swerve to avoid rear-ending anotehr chaser. Of course you have a few chasers with their bright flashing lights. You could say this is a documentary on how storm chasing is out of control. And this is just the first episode!!

Haven’t watched it yet, but wow, that’s ridiculous that Discovery would elevate and sensationalize that behavior. By giving it a platform and showcasing it, they are implicitly sanctioning it and giving it credibility. Not only will this (further) diminish storm chasers in the eyes of the public, but it will also encourage similar behavior in the next generation of chasers, worsening the issues currently being discussed here 'Not Feeling It' Chase Burnout? and here https://stormtrack.org/threads/the-slow-and-agonizing-death-of-the-storm-chasing-hobby.33417/
