An outflow boundary moved through the Denver metro area just after 7PM and set off some storms. I drove outside the city just to get a better vantage and was greeted by a beautiful sunset and some decent structure. I finally settled in and worked on some lightning shots, as the show was fantastic!

I've attached a couple of my favorites. It will be a while before I get a log up, however, as I have a lot of work to do on my site.

I went out after one of the storms north of Lubbock just before sundown. Didnt see to much then, but after getting back in Lubbock I was treated to a very intense lightning show. I set my camera up for only a few minutes and ended with 3 of my best lightning pictures to date. I could have got many more, but I left like too much of a lightning rod standing out on the balcony. I have seen a lot of intense lightning this year (seems like more than previous years) and I am surprised I still have any hearing left.
