Tornado watch issued here in E Kansas. Cells are popping up randomly now in a hurried manner across E KS. Most cells near me are isolated at this point.

Agreed.
Surprised SPC didnt take the WW to the IA border.

Also been monitering INX and its trying but caps obviously holding, think those blips are elevated sprinkles attm.

FWIW FWD is launching a special 06Z for the SPC but think anything down here will be squall line toward morning with the cold front

Just confirming that KDMX is down until 2100Z? I'm using dynamic placefiles and just wanted to make sure that it's up to date. The cell near St. Joseph and the line from Liberty to Kingston are looking good on SRV scans.

TVS on cell X0 off of site KEAX. LLDV of 52kts with max sheer of 20kts, cell SW of Kingston, MO.

2245 CST
Edit:Same cell just Severe Warned until 2330 CST, winds over 60mph and weak rotation. Poly from Kingston to NE of Chilicothe

Darin Brunin and I are watching a nice LP storm with a powerful updraft just to the north of Louisburg, KS. We'll try and get a nice look at it before kissing it goodbye for the next one. Hardly any precipitation underneath the base at all...

Next one to the S near Spring Hill is was briefly looking interesting but seems to be disorganizing. Kinda looks like this stuff might get cut off by the developing linear bands if they continue to intensify.

EDIT: Now Severe warned for damaging winds.

Probably the best cell yet has grown fast west of Manhattan, KS. Its all on its own and has started looking more organized, also moving into better environment.

Still sitting in NC Texas. The upper level energy is very close with CAPE values at 2000 j/kg, LI at -7, and helicity at 450 m2/s2 it could go crazy in NW/NC TX in the next 30 minutes to hour!

SPC M.A. RUC analyzing ~100 0-3km MLCAPE over most of Central Oklahoma, and 0z OUN sounding shows a weak inversion. 400+ M2/S2 0-1km SRH analyzed over most of Oklahoma! Any updraft discrete or not that can become sfc-based has a good chance for tornado development. There could be a mini-tornado outbreak tonight over central and eastern Oklahoma...

I'm in Wichita Ks and we are getting light to moderate showers, cloud to cloud lightning and thunder. I'm going to head down to the OK/KS line to see if anything breaks down there.

Im getting towers down here now in the metroplex being silhouetted by city lights.

Also see NW TX is going on KFDR

Will be interesting to see the 06Z special down here, think caps beginning to erode
