I see many threads concerning live tracking and streaming of severe weather events and the only platforms that seem to offer this currently is zoomradar and the old TVN weather however this service closed down last year. I am not sure if the chaser community is aware that Tracknwatch was launched only a month ago and offers what we consider one of the best live streaming and tracking platforms for chasers currently available. It is a service offered to chasers free of charge.

    This platform offers:

Live tracking with 2 sec position updates on an interactive map with direction
Live streaming direct to your tracking marker and the video player follows your marker
Marker status indicator (Red streaming, grey flashing last location)
    Chat facility on your marker
    Photo upload on your marker
Worldwide weather overlay (Top right of screen)
Web cam tools to assist with weather status
Private group maps (Have your own private chaser group you can stream to)
Stream direct from your smartphone to your tracking marker allowing freedom from you vehicle when needed.
Compatible with OBS, Live stream, Teredek and all other encoders
All media and sales inquiries are directed to the chaser or the company that represents them and you nominate who you want the inquiries to go to.
    Copyright watermark on streams
    No fees

As we say, this is a free service to chasers as Tracknwatch core business is elsewhere but with the 2017 season getting closer we think that this tool will be invaluable to all chasers. Have a look at the platform at www.tracknwatch.com Glad we could assist members of stormtrack, one of the most comprehensive sites we have had the pleasure to be involved with.

Tracknwatch has developed a simple and effective way to live stream severe weather events and have your position live tracked by simply using your cell phone. We are currently looking for a few interested people around the world to trial the new app.

Forget about sophisticated streaming gear and thousand dollar camera rigs. If you have an Android Cellphone and you want to stream live weather whilst being tracked at no cost except the charges by your network provider then send an email to support@tracknwatch.com and we will provide you with a login and password. Our aim is to allow the average person with a passion for weather but with a limited budget to stream live for the benefit of all communities.

If you want to see Tracknwatch in operation please go the webpage at www.tracknwatch.com and click on any of the red markers which have a black triangle showing direction and you can see the live streaming video.

Glad we can help the weather community.
