NEW UPDATED Quick guidelines

* To add your blog, have it removed, or to update and/or change your listing, simply just reply to this message (don\'t PM or E-mail it). Once your listing has been added above, your reply will be deleted.

* Myself or the other moderators, as time permits, will add your entry to the list and delete the reply. It may take anywhere from hours to weeks to add your entry, depending on available time.

* Keep descriptions less than 10 words (we prefer you use your blog title as the description)

* Only those who keep and regularly updated blog should post here (updated within last 30 days, updates at least once a month, etc).

Due to time constraints, your entry will be deleted and not added to the above list if your entry is not formatted as shown above (with bold markings and URL embedded as shown). Please make sure the format is followed to ensure you get listed.

In an effort to keep this more updated and of interest to those that like to read blogs, links on this list will be periodically checked and possibly removed from the listing based on the following criteria:

1) Blog is not being regularly updated. (At least once every 30 days.)
2) Blog does not contain at least 50% of it's posts chasing related.
3) The URL to the blog has been redirected to something else.
4) Making your blog private or friends only.
5) *NEW* Content must be family friendly.

In reference to #1, if your taking an extended period off from posting in your blog, (i.e. winter rolls around) make a note of it in your blog for your readers, as we have no idea if your just off for the season or just lost interest in blogging.

#2 is in place because, well, this is a listing for STORM CHASER BLOGS. Logic would dictate people clicking those links want to read about others thoughts about storm chasing.

I cleaned up the order and added a few blogs today. The list now appears alphabetically.

Please see the guidelines below for adding new posts. Post a link to your active blog and one of the mods will update the list accordingly.

There was a list purge back in August. The moderator team cleaned out a large number of blogs on here. Many were only active during peak chase times and had not been active within at least 30 days prior to the purge. If you feel that we made a mistake or you plan to become active at least once every month on your blog, please post a link to your blog and we will add you back to the list.

Rule change: A new rule was added last month that states your blog must be "family friendly." If we find a content warning that states one must be 18 years or older to visit your blog, then it will not be permitted.

As we approach the date of final export of the current ST database, I encourage you to post if you have changed URL's or created a new blog you would like to have listed here. We will remove blogs that have not had a post in over a year so if you would like yours to continue to be listed, you might consider making a post there in the coming days.

It started as a photo gallery, but I'm turning it into a chase account gallery. Each picture will have a description and each gallery will have its own description of the day's setup. Eventually I'll buy the domain name and knock off the smugmug part of it.

If we're trying to get an updated list of chase blogs, I'll add mine to the pile: Stephen's Storm Log

When I was a kid, I had a notebook where I wrote embarrassing little journal entries about storms that hit our house. I called it "Stephen's Storm Log," and I haven't come up with a better name in all these years.
