Very interesting event/outbreak this week in the NE US. Numerous EF2 and EF1 tornadoes occurred. The Capital Weather Gang has a nice writeup at https://www.washingtonpost.com/weather/2018/10/03/unbelievable-day-october-severe-weather-outbreak-delivers-tornadoes-hail-damaging-wind-northeast/?noredirect=on&utm_term=.d70e8c1d4f40 . The last count I heard is that PA has verified 10 tornadoes throughout the state (and they are still awaiting results from some flyovers over the wooded areas to assess if there were more). Quite a day.

This was a crazy day. I had a hard time keeping up on the current warnings. I was working as a radar guide for a fellow chaser and man was it wild. One thing I noted was the wind profiles continued to improve throughout the day. While the instability stayed modest
