I took these photographs this morning in Western Illinois where a very shallow layer (yet thick at times if that makes sense) overspread the area right before sunrise. The contrast between clear skies overhead, smoke to the east, and the fog at the surface made for some otherwise amazing scenes. Having flowers growing in the foreground didn't hurt either. Another top notch morning for photography in this area. I shot these using the Sony A7RIII with 400mm G-Master and 135mm G-Master lenses. Thanks for looking!
