Multiple media outlets are reporting that a group of hunters rode out a tornado in a duck blind last Saturday (12/1/2018) in IL. That headline is a little misleading. Their duck blind was a steal pit in the ground and the tornado didn't come that close, but it is an interesting story none the less. Original story is here: https://week.com/news/2018/12/03/hunters-recall-their-close-encounter-with-saturdays-tornado/ (with a title "Hunters recall their close encounter with Saturday’s tornado" which has been morphed by other media outlets). This was certainly interesting to me being that I am a chaser and a waterfowl hunter myself. Anytime the two could come together would be awesome!
