Hey everyone,

So I've been researching and reading up on the various major radar services online, like Allison House, GRLevel2/3, and WeatherOps, and I came to the consensus that they all are ridiculously expensive for someone like me. So I was wondering, what are some good places to find real-time, good-quality Level 2 and 3 radar data, as well as real-time Nexrad . I've seen the College of Dupage NexLab site, but I just want to find some other sites/programs like it. Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you as always,
Brandon

One option I’d recommend is Home | weatherTAP. It has everything you mentioned plus more. A monthly subscription is $8.45 and an annual subscription is $89.99. Their RadarLab HD program would provide you with what you’re after, plus they now have iOS and Android standalone apps. There are certainly other programs, websites, and data sources to research. Searching this very forum would provide you with additional information you may not have considered as well.

Another app I’d recommend is Ventusky, which you can purchase in the App Store or Play Store. Once you figure out the settings you’ll realize just how powerful this program really is.

Thanks.

To this I want to add an additional question for anyone who might be able to help.

What places online have stuff besides just reflectivity, such as velocity, correlation coefficient, in differential reflectivity? I know a lot of places do on for the basic reflectivity from the next ride sources, but I'm not really sure it was a lot of places that actually offer these other features, without of course paying exorbitantly large amounts of money.

I don’t think you can beat Radar Scope Pro. It has everything you need. If you want model data for free, check out Pivotal Weather, or CoD as you already mentioned.
