This was a pretty good chase despite missing out on the Punkin Center cone. Started in Sterling CO in what was looking like a solid enviorment. Noticed a few cells going up south of Akron and began heading south. We caught up in time to witness a 3 minute rope tornado outside the town of Brush. Afterwards we began heading north to keep up with a new storm that had gone up south of Akron. While we didn't witness anymore tornadoes this day, there were apparently a few reports of tornadoes with this storm. The structure associated with this cell was pretty solid, with a good bit of rapid rotation for most of its life. We ended the chase as the storm entered Nebraska.
