On the afternoon of March 21, I observed one of the most electrified snowstorms I have ever seen, tracking the storm from Chimney Rock National Monument to Pagosa Springs Colorado. Strong storms developed in far northwest New Mexico (where there was even a report of a landspout tornado). By the time the storms crossed into Colorado, the p-type went over to snow at around 6500 feet with accumulating snow above 7000 feet.
