1994-07-27 Limerick, PA and others

Discussion in '1990s' started by Ryan Connelly-, Aug 4, 2013.

  1. Not all that notable outside of the Washington-Baltimore-Philly corridor, but at the time it was the most tornadoes in a single day for Maryland, and it also featured two F3s in Delaware/Pennsylvania, the latter hitting a new housing development in Limerick, PA.

I recently threw together a few maps of the event for someone else's blog by convert grib files to gemdata and plotting a few things. Nothing too spectacular, but someone might find it interesting.

(Also consider that the audience is mostly non-Met.)
